Ottawa River
Depart from the Ottawa NCC public dock, located across the Alexandra Bridge in Hull. Cruise around the Parliament Bay. Take pictures of Parliament, The Locks, the Supreme Court and the Museum of Civilization. Further down the Ottawa river stop for a splash by the Rideau falls. Take a picture of the Prime Ministers' house. Dock in his bay, or go across to Hookers bay. Enjoy some fishing or a BBQ. The river offers a splendid opportunity for family and friends to maintain close relationships being together on vacation or celebrating events such as birthday's, wedding anniversary, bachelor party, romantic dinner. You can head down river to Upper Duck Island. Approach the Island slowly and watch your depth as you anchor at 4'. Tan, listen to music, BBQ, swim to the Island's sandy beach. On your way back dock at the Rockcliffe boat house for Gas and a bite, or dock at one of the Restaurants on the Quebec side. The river can take you all the way to Montreal. Rent a yacht for half or a full day, or for a vacation, and enjoy your Ottawa river cruise at your leisure. Hiring the Services of the Captain and crew is required on yachts over 30'.
Evening Dinner Cruise
