The Vacation Yacht

is a 28 foot comfortable cruiser, available for a minimum 4 day rental in the Ottawa area, the Rideau Canal, the 1000 Islands or Montreal. It is run by an efficient economic engine giving it a range of approximately 220km on a full tank of 400 liters. At speeds approaching 40 kmh, this boat can zip through Lakes within minutes instead of hours like pontoon based boats. Cockpit canvas enclosure with mosquito screens and ice coolers allow for all weather entertaining of 4 persons with sleeping accommodations for two in the Queen aft cabin, one in the forward double vberth and one in the convertible dinette. Cool vent hatches, airy port holes. Easy to handle anchoring, radio, chart plotter navigation and docking assist offer added convenience. Life vests, high water alarm, automatic fire extinguishing systems and annual inspection of  Transport Canada mandatory equipment ensure safety. The yacht's home is on it's trailer in Ottawa. It can be delivered and picked up by her trailer only on weekdays in the Ottawa river, the Rideau Canal or anywhere along the Ottawa, Montreal, Kingston triangle. It is classified as a boat under 30' and is therefore rented without Captain and Crew. For those that have boating experience but do not qualify to handle this boat, special arrangements can be made with the Captain for a boat operating course during a weekday.
